September is a special month in my book. For one, it's the gateway to Fall, my favorite season of all time. My second reason for loving this month, it's my mom's birth month. I lost my mom to cancer ten years ago and my mom would have been 63 this year. In her honor, I am featuring stories from a few awesome cancer survivors that I have met from my own journey with cancer. Each of them will share their diagnosis, how it changed their lives and what they used to cope. We all come from different backgrounds, beliefs and experiences but one thing is certain; we're all survivors.
In this episode of The Brave Podcast, we get to hang out with one of my favorite people, my friend Caroline Wolden. Caroline is a breast cancer and Lyme disease survivor (woot woot!). During our interview, she shares about her journey with breast cancer, Lyme disease, adventuring and advocating for yourself. Towards the end of the interview, we get a visit from her cat Aurora.
